昨天搭上了酒店的Free Shuttle到市区去走走。。。到的地方是Deira City Center。 Deira是Dubai的旧城市，也是旧码头。在这里可以看到很多的船下货到码头。。。听同事说这里也是香料市场，在这里可以买到很便宜的香料。没看到，有机会会去看看。因为天气很热，所以也没走很远只在附近看看。

Deira City Center是间购物商场，拥有340间商店。要提的是全是名牌！！！Calvin Klein, DKNY, Burberry…..etc 对我来说真的是Window Shopping。。哈哈！整间商场，我逗留最久的是Carrefour。。。嘻嘻，在这里做市场调查，看看日常用品的价钱，因为下个星期就会搬进我的小小窝了！！一般来说，这里的东西都比马来西亚来的贵。我发挥了我“师奶”本色，货比五六家。。哈哈！真得很师奶！！

今天到IKEA去了。他的所在地是，Festival City Center。 这整个工程将会是集合了娱乐，住宅区，学校，医药的地方。现在暂时还在发展期间，所以在未来的2-3年将会是一个很发达，兴旺的地方！

这两天所经过的地方，看着这城市发展的速度很惊人，但同时我也看到了这城市的富裕程度也是很惊人的。一条条的“大道”，高架天骄穿越于城市中心。。真的很令人佩服！也难怪它被誉为世界发展最快的城市！！

I was too bored in the hotel room and decided to go out for a walk. The hotel that I'm staying is offering a shuttle service to Dubai Town. So happily I hop in to the shuttle and went to this "Deira City Center". It a shopping mall and where Carrefour is located.

Deira is the old town of Dubai. When i was walking around i could see lot of ship parking along the way and unload the goods. I was told by my collegue that there is a spice market nearby which can get very cheap spices and stuffs. As I walk around I dont really see any market around, but will definitely visit the place 1 day! :D

Today I was in Ikea located in the Festival City Center. This is a very huge project where this festival city will have residence area, entertainment, shopping, school, medical center...etc In 2-3 years time, this place will be very happening!

For the pas few days, i think the most impressive thing to me in Dubai is the development of the city. This is really a very prosperous country and the speed of development is amazing! The high ways .. the overhead bridges... I'm really impressed!! No wonder it it named as the world fastest developed city!
